Here's a rare disc insulator CD 1170.3 used to support wall bushings or cables through walls in substations and indoor powerhouses. Two things make this particular example rare- first of all its small size, measuring a mere 3 1/4 inches diameter. All other examples I've seen are in the medium sized category (and there is a scarce large size too!). The 2nd thing that makes this example rare is the embossing- "ITALIA - MIVA- ACQUI" (CD 1171 a larger disc insulator has ITALIA variant).

Comes in an attractive Teal Yellow Green. Has a large bruise/chip on one side (seen in pic) and light chipping on reverse pinhole, tiny matchead flake and tiny bb ping. First email gets this rare insulator for only $85 plus shipping. Thanks!
