Up for sale is a very special and decidedly unique Diamond CD 102. This example seems to combine all of unusual colour, embossing style, junk in glass, and exceptional condition into one very nice example of the much-loved Canadian pony. This example is a [160] Diamond example in an unusual strong grey or steel grey colour. The [160] embossing is an unusual one to begin with, as this tall, slender mould normally has vertical bars above both diamonds. While this colour is listed, the extremely strong milky swirling present throughout this piece is certainly not. There's no doubt about it, this one is milky. When underlit, this characteristic couldn't be more obvious. This is an unlisted colour and is a variation I have seen very few of over the past 13 years of collecting. This example originated from the collection of a lineman in London, ON earlier this summer. What's perhaps almost as incredible as the colour and swirling present in this piece is the condition of it. There are two 1/4" open base bubbles. Short of this and a few tiny fleabites (less than 1/16"), this one looks to be just about perfect. I'd call it VNM. Clearly I over-priced this one by a bit, so how about $90.00 US for this unusual mould style/colour variation with a whole lot of character. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before.
