Sold on eBay for $150 shipped and insured. Is a really a nice light purple. Back lighting seems to bring out purple even more. The condition is 99.999% as made and the following explanation of what that means sounds worse then actual. As you can see in my pic there is a flat type opened bubble under the round base straight down from the R of California. There are also two more opened bubbles. One is a 1/8" long tear shaped bubble on the surface near the top on left front side of dome that has only a minute amount of glass that flaked out on the outside edges. You should be able to just make that out in my pic if you look close enough. Above that opened bubble at the top there is a small excess bump of glass. The last opened bubble is very small and on the side of upper wire groove ridge. that is pretty much alligned with the tear drop bubble I mentioned was on the dome. There are also four short annealing cracks that come up on the lower threads as you go around. I believe you can see one or maybe two in my pic. On the rear side of base there is an underpour at the base which is about 3/4" long and about 1/8" deep. Not that I think you will be displaying that detail when you can view the large bold embossing of CALIFORNIA on the front skirt. Te only thing I see as not being how this insulator was made is where the wire rubbed for a short time high on the front skirt. That is tough to see unless you really go searching for it with extra light. Book value 150-175.
