This insulator looks pretty much the same color (maybe a touch darker) as the olive green Star beehive Don Briel just listed after my last postings this morning. I saw lots of amber in that insulator as I do in this signal. This 162 also has some blue in the skirt and I thought I saw a swirl of purple in the dome while holding against a white background. I think however that between an amber swirl in the dome and another blue streak created an illusion for my eyes to see. Anyhow, I listed this insulator before and it didn't sell and that was before I took my best look at it. Even though I discovered another detail or two my offering price will be the same.

Condition : About 1/2" to the right of the Star at the base there is a tough to notice small bruise with just a tiny flake of glass missing on the outer edge of base. About 1/2" further to the right under the base there is a shallow base flake that is just over 1/2" long. The Star also has a fracture and the outer point is missing. Even with all that said the insulator displays quite well and looks awesome with the sun shinning through the stunning glass color. The person I purchased it from claimed it was yellow olive green but I would call it dark olive green with lots of amber.

Estimated value 40-50+. First emailer will have this beauty arrive on their doorstep in 2015 (maybe your first) for $32.50 east of Mississippi, $35.00 west of Mississippi or $42.50 USA dollars to Canada. Pay Pal non-fee, personal or money order checks accepted as payment. I will be listing another Star signal in a moment and will sell the pair for $60 shipped anywhere in USA only.
