Sharon and I were visiting her brother and his wife for a few days after Christmas in Salem, MA. We then decided to make a day trip to Portsmouth, NH, and they very generously let me visit a couple of antique stores on the way. In a Salisbury, MA, antique store I see this Whitall Tatum insulator among some commons. It looks a little different from all the Whitall Tatums I've got in my collection, but I left the Price Guide back at their place. Decided to take a chance and picked it up for $14.00. Glad I did, turned out to be a CD 163.4, a CD I did not have in the collection. Given the Price Guide value of $20 to $30 it must be relatively common but I don't recall ever seeing one in the years I've collected these thing. Perhaps not a steal at $14.00, but a lot of fun to pick up a new CD, affordable and in perfect condition..
