Middlebury, VT 1909, RR Station, Telegraph Pole with Junction Box

The latter had individual wires coming from the open wire connecting to a terminal board inside the wooden junction box. From there a covered cable (as seen) consisting of combined wires connected to the telegrapher's office within the railroad station. Added note: the forementioned cable ran from the pole on the left to the one on the other side of the station. It is assumed the cable then connected from there to the other side of the building...for whatever reason for this lengthy stretch...
