My favourite hunting pic from this year - Two mint 1913 Bullers multiparts waiting to be uncovered. This design was used exclusively on the high voltage line serving Dinorwic and Penrhyn quarries in North Wales. Many of the original units survived up until 1968 when the line was dismantled but over the years most suscepted to cement expansion resulting in the tops breaking off. These two, along with a third, we're lucky to survive. |
