With time on my hands, I decided to try my luck with "Blender"---the free 3D rendering software. Needless to say, for my first real practice of CGI technique, I chose an insulator---this rather common CD 162. And, upon seeing the result, I felt that I just had to share. Yes, it IS computer-generated.
