CD 253 [020] (F-Skirt) KNOWLES CABLE/INSULATOR/"PATENTED.JUNE. 17. 1890" SB. I would consider this insulator a good green color with a lot of light amber swirling especially in the ears. The picture shows it well. Some would even go so far as calling it a yellow green because of the swirls. If it is, it is borderline yellow green in my opinion. Regardless, it is a very nice piece. This is one of only a few insulators with 'Insulator' actually embossed on it and is about a close to mint as you can expect to find.

This comes with great provenance as well. I traded a complete 7 piece insulator mold for it in exchange for this and a CD 102 BT Co of Can purple pony.
