My now four year old daughter had a bithday party November 23. One of my seven sisters showed up with my newest brother-in-laws and a box of insulators he purchased some time ago at an auction. The box contained mostly commons and many were damaged insulators. Shown here were the only ones that interested me in some way or another. The Hemingray-42 embossing looks like it is embossed HEMINGRAY-4. Had to look super close n order to see the 2 was there but it must have been filled up with paste. The Brookfield 162.1 has some nice amber swirling. To bad it has a crack in the dome. There were several porcellian insulators. Decided I liked the coloring of the OB shown. Not sure what U number it is. Still haven't ad the time to look it up in my mud books. I don't have any books on radio strains and don't collect them. The one shown is a straw color and the only one I've ever owned with embossing. Think it reads FELRON. Seems to me I read something about them on the digest not long ago. Not long from now I will be celebrating my 60th birthday on the 16th of this month. Anyone interested in sending insulators can mail to 18 Laurel Lane Catskill, N.Y., 12414. Thanks. (only kidding. I have enough insulators to but n the free stuff if I ever make it to Springfield again.)
