Threaded and Threadless Beaver Falls Insulators

Sometimes you look at a piece and wonder why it does not have a different CD assigned to it. Beaver Falls Glass reworked many of their molds over the years. This threaded version has a very large pinhole which makes me wonder if they just reworked the threadless mold by adding threads. Maybe they experimented with a larger wooden pin in the early years as more glass houses changed over to the threaded design.
