Some years ago, a grouping of unused Cal. Elec. Works glass insulators were found in a crate. This is likely one of those as the insulator appears unused. Short of a couple tiny flakes up from the base on the right hand side in front, and a miniscule, shallow annealing line at the corner of the dome in the back, this piece appears perfect. Most would simply call the insulator mint. Nice dome bubble and light amber swirling as well. This is the three piece mold. Folks, Cal. Elecs. just simply don't get much better than this one. As far as eye appeal goes, many in the insulator collecting hobby find the Cal. Elec. CD 130 and 130.1 shapes to be the coolest shape for an insulator. Considering the design, isn't it amazing that any of these can still be found in reasonably good condition? Grab this piece of history now for $899 shipped via USPS priority mail. First email that says, "I'd like to purchase this insulator," gets it. Thank you for looking! |
