What we have here is a Green American CD 145 (020) that leans toward Yellow Green, but not near enough to call it that. As is common with theses guys, there is some junk inside and all damage to the piece is associated with impurities in the glass. A bit of brown junk located at the outer base rim causes a 1 7/8" fan bruise directly outboard of the 'U' in Insulator. The bruise extends upward 1/4" into the skirt at the left and 3/4" at the right. There is no evidence whatsoever of an impact and do believe this bruise was caused in the annealing process. The embossing is perfect. The only other imperfection is another bit of junk that caused a NGM pop in the crown just right of the left mold line right below the surface. The imperfection extends 7/8" top left to bottom right, you cnnot feel any of this with your fingers. Now for the good, there is a big stringer of amberish snot that winds it way down from the top of the pinhole down and to the right. You know how often these do not come up for sale. I will try to capture all with pictures. Offered here way below book at $250.00 shipped. Insurance extra, PayPal only and thank you for looking.
