I also picked up this McLaughlin bowl today, It was recently found in Reno. This is the darkest blue I have seen these in, The glass is thicker then normal and not so much as a scratch. Flawless. Made from a 5 gal water bottle and the story I heard was they were sold in a southern CA. department store in the 1940/50s?
