We have just framed 8 more poles on the replica 22,000 volt power line at the Oregon Electric Railway Museum in Brooks, OR. We now have a total of 22 poles rigged with crossarms and insulators and will stop due to wet weather. View is looking east on the north section of the line. The row of Victor insulators on the poles gives a whole new dimension to the rail right of way. We used the pole top "king pins" on this part of the line to replicate the former Oregon Electric Railway real interurban power line. |
