Cool close-up view of the larger picture I just posted, click "Previous".

The incandescent span wire street light that once illuminated this village centre was manufactured by the Wheeler Reflector Company (Boston, MA with their foundry in suburban Hanson, MA). This double-walled reflectored-fixture (opposed to single-flat radial wave porcelain-enamelled shades) dates back to the teens.

A nice openwire telephone pole also seen, utilizing six and ten pins.

Gotta love that old "Shell" gas station sign, gasoline pumps and old car too ;-)
