A very nice variety and good example of what the community squares here in Boston looked like about a century ago. The Edison Electric Illuminating Company of Boston (which became Boston Edison around 1938) owned most of the uppermost wires seen here. Also within view are the heavier trolley cables that ran all around the city, the majority with glass insulators through at least the teens from my research.
