A good looking ten-pin, three-crossarm telephone open wire lead with some of its glass insulators glimmering in the sunlight is seen along the right. It also had a public telephone sign affixed to it for customers of the store or establishment (with their ground-level sign) in the background.

On the left is what looks like a pole line supporting electric utility wires along this dusty road in Ohio.
