Dan has been very active within our hobby since the late 1970s. He worked for New England Telephone for many years and got to find many interesting insulators while "up in the air" in communities south of Boston. Among these were some C.E.L. Co., Diamond-P and Pettingell Andrews insulators on former fire alarm lines. Dan also was very conscientious in saving any discarded phone company and electrical artifacts during his travels. It was great seeing and meeting his wife too ;-) They reside in Kingston, MA.
