I went to a few garage sales Friday and as usual asked if they had any insulators. Most said "What are they?" and then "Nope". One guy said his son was selling a collection he had put together 10-12 years ago. He showed me 4 boxes of pretty common pieces but said his son had the better pieces stashed in the house and he would be home later that day. I left my number and got a call that night so went over to see the rest of the collection. Still a lot of commons with a few slightly better pieces and then these three. He didn't recall exactly where he picked these up or the story behind them but was pretty sure they came from the Missoula, MT area as he was only 11 years old at the time. We worked out a price for everything and I left amazed that I had run across a purple Cal helmet and a Cochrane bell in Missoula. Very Cool!
