We stopped in at a junky 'antique' store a few days ago that had several boxes of insulators, all of which were undamaged and no two the same. I asked for a price for all of them but he wouldn't sell. His price for individual ones was not to my liking so we departed empty handed. This morning I had to make a trip to the scrap yard for a friend - her boyfriend had moved out and since I have a truck and spare time, I became her new best friend. ( everybody with a truck knows what I'm saying). While I was at the scrap yard I bought a couple pieces of interesting scrap iron for a few dollars. I have just returned from the junk store where I traded the scrap iron things for these 8 insulators. While no big deal was transacted we both came out ahead. U numbers are not my thing so there is a Thomas signal, a very nicely marked two tone blue signal. An infinity marked Locke, an unmarked green CP signal beside an odd coloured U-2421 cable top. A CP spool in another odd colour, A dark grey, almost black, new and unused cable top, and a nicely mottled triple skirted power piece.
