Before I tell my tale about this hunt I'd like to ask anyone who knows what the Edison prcellian pieces is that is shown behind the insulators. I think it is some sort of battery jar lid but not certain. Purchased the piece on account of what those American Picker's always say, "If you ain't ever seen it before BUT IT!!

Found the three 102 ponies at the Woodstock NY. Saturday fleamarket yesterday. They looked very green in color at the time of my purchase. Funny by the time I arrived home with them they looked more the common aqua colors both the insulators with sharp drip points and smoothe base models were made it. They all did have a good amount of coal soot covering them. With a combination of that factor and the green maple trees that surround the park where the fleamarket is held must have played with my perception before I paid a few bucks, had them wrapped and in my back pack.

The 234 Pyrex and the olive green Star beehive came from one of the six antique stores located in Saugerties NY. An antique store that I've visited countless times and seldom walked back out of without any insulators. Can't really recall if I ever at all found any insulators at all in that particular antique store. If I did ever find any glass at that store it was so long ago I can't remember. If I had ever found anything there worth my effeort I'm sure my memory would recall. Anyway, I do hope the sell will bring up some more insulators up with him when he flys back up to the north east. I figure he is a snow bird.

To see these five insulators all cleaned up and the insulators I carried home on the back of my motorcycle today be sure to see the pic I will be uploading next. It is a wonder I survived the 2 1/2-3 hour ride back from near Boston. I did exactly what I was warned not to do when I took the NYS Motorcycle Safety Course when I first started riding.
