Like I said in my last post the only insulator I found at the Stormville flea market is in this pic. It is the orange looking Pyrex CD 234. Had two spare metal pins so I decided I could add that insulator and the very orange looking rootbeer CD 267 Armstron's straight above to my outside collection for visitors to view when they arrive. This tree sure has become quite the learning tool for any person that shows any interest in the hobby at all. I count around 28 different CD numbers as of date and some harder to find colors. Did anyone else out there notice that most people that have only limited knowledge about insulators think that they were all just made in that Green Color (they are usually refering to aqua colored insulators)??. Can't tell you how many times I heard that once I got a person to understand just what I was looking for in the first place either at flea markets or yard / tag sales. Anyway, it turned out that I also knew the person that sold me the very colorful CD 234. I've known him since childhood and he only lives about 5-miles away from me. The Stormville flea market is about 60 miles away from where I live. But thinking positivily it is just as well I purchased the piece from him at Stormville. Otherwise I wouldn't of had a good reason to venture further away from home. After all, who wants to return home with only 2-3 insulators?
