I followed up on a Craigslist lead that I had been working with for a month, and took a drive up to northern Colorado today, meeting up with a lady who was wanting to rid her barn of the remainder of a cache consisting of several thousand insulators.

When she obtained them a few years ago from a former Bell System Lineman, she brought home nine (yes, nine) pickup truck loads of insulators, mostly of the types listed below...

I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer numbers of the following types of glass insulators: CD 121 BF, CD 122 HEMI, ARM, and KERR, CD 128 Pyrex, CD 129 Hemi, and Armstrong, CD 154 Hemis in Clear, Aqua, Ice Aqua, and Hemi Blue. Also pulled in a couple dozen or so CD 155s as well as CD 129s and 128s, to record mold number/codes for the gurus on ICON.

That said, 3/4s of them were covered in years of bird poo and dirt, except the bottom layers in some boxes, warranting a good cleaning...

I'll be uploading a third photo in a day or so after I get them cleaned up/hosed off.
