Mark Merzoian sent me this picture, of the silver-painted insulator, to post to the ICON site. The insulator in question, is on the lower crossarm, just to the left of the pole. There has been much speculation, as to WHY this insulator has been painted. Perhaps, this photo might shed some light, on that question.
