The seller who I started buying insulators from last year ( [id=383228282] to see some of last years buys) at the Brimfield Ma. week long antique flea market trucked many more with him this time around. He had two low shelves maybe 18"x60" loaded with mostly commons with he was selling for $5 each or 5 for $20. Being he remembered me from last year he offered me a bargain price of 6 for $20. I could only come up with four that I had any interest in at all from either shelf. This Lynchburg CD 164 in green in the middle is one of those four {the 162.1 on left came from another seller). The Star CD 162.3 in the previous pic I posted of this hunt was also one of the four. It has a pollywag and bubble otherwise I may have put it back down being the dome had quite a few flea bites all around. Anyway, I couldn't find any others on the two shelves so I started looking at the insulators the seller had elsewhere that were much higher priced being that were not low self pieces in the sellers opinion. I noticed that the dark green Brookfield CD 205 on the right in pic has a crack in the skirt and pointed that out to the seller. He agreed to include that piece in the 6 for $20 deal. I was still looking for number six to complete the $20 deal so I looked at yet another enclosed glass case where there was a the green Star CD 162 with amber and snow ( in my previous pic.[id=405082522] ). I asked if he would include that Star and of course he didn't want to being he had it marked for $30 alone. Being the Star 162 wasn't mint condition my offer of an addition $5 completed our transaction.

I'll hopefully will be returning to Brimfield in the first week of July. If you've never been to this flea market it is the largest in the north east. Takes place three time a year. Walking practically non-stop it takes me around four hours to see just about every vendors booth with a quick scan.
