Though these are not Fred Locke pieces, I had to grab these three classic blue Thomas at the Columbia City show today.... I am going to melt the lead out of the caps pin holes to remove the pins... The centre one is just stunning and is likely my collection keeper. These may be the oldest known US cobalt glazed porcelain insulators and were likely made before 1910. Most cobalt pieces I have seen are comparatively modern with uninteresting uniform dark blue glazes except for the various Pittsburg pieces. They were removed decades ago by an employee of a steel mill an Gary Indiana ...Thank you Arlen Rienstra !! !
