I was fortunate to track down a lead and visit a family that could not have been more nice! A day full of picking through glass with my wife, tough negotiating and eating an AMAZING dinner with the family...this is what I came home with! A find for the ages! By far the best part of the day was getting to know the family and hear of the passion they had/have for all types of antiques. I know how much these pieces meant to the father so I decided to have this picture blown up and put it in a frame and mailed it out today as a surprise. I can't wait to hear from them later this week when it gets there...they had spent so much time over the years to acquire these, it's the least I could do to allow them to continue to enjoy them!

I love a tough negotiation and that's definitely what I got with them...makes it that much sweeter when you make the deal! That is a day I'll never forget...definitely would love to stay in touch with them...great when you meet REAL QUALITY people! Enjoy the picture!
