This container has the melted remains of one of FredM.Locke's glass experaments. Fred is known to have done many experaments with difrent glass chemical formulas in his home lab in the 1908-1925 era . He patented the basic formula used for Pyrex glass I found this in the woods near the site of his home oin an old trash pile.. it appears the bottem broke out of thecrucible when the glass chemicals were being melted .
