I find this while looking for insulators along a track where they are removing the old poles. I don't know if it's related to the RR line or not...there are other things along the tracks like billboards. It seems to be ceramic/porcelain, and has a wire connected to a spade on each side. This is a side view showing there is a long tapered unglazed part and a then an oval glazed part with what looks like a knob on the top. It has a couple of small marks on the unglazed part that look like a P in a circle and a G in a circle, and maybe a 5 in a circle (I'll have to clean it to find out). I'm going to post a picture of the top also. Any idea of what it is?
