Jim Frustieri had this rather rare piece on his sales table. A reporter for a local newspaper came by and wanted to take a photo of one of the most expensive pieces at the show. He had yours truly hold it while he took a few photos … in a very unnatural 'fingertips on the bottom' pose. Seemed like it took forever as I stood there, arm outreached holding this piece at an angle with fingertips on the drip points. That's not how we hold insulators!!! Anyway, the story and photos got printed in the Sunday Paper… a good plug for the hobby and the show (and how not to hold rare insulators!) The 14th Annual Allegheny Valley Insulator Show at the VFW Hall in Natrona Heights, PA on Saturday, April 5, 2014.
