Complemented by twisted pair cable supported by bridle rings, supplementing telephone service circuits in this Nebraska community a century ago. Added note: The wires were actually deadended on each of these single 90-degree-mounted crossarms. Typically (and by most standards) double "buck" arms were used in such installations.
