These shards were discovered by Bill Ostrander in 2001. It was a pleasant surprise when we found them undisturbed thirteen years later. We decided not to pick them up because they're one of the few remnants of the Arizona Military Telegraph still intact and should not be removed. I've also chosen not to share their coordinates for that same reason.
