This scarce pair of insulators can now be assigned to Folembray manufacture as the smaller piece on the right is embossed upside down "FOL." (front) with blot out (reverse). Measures 1 3/8" tall x 1 1/16" wide. 2 small match-head flakes and several teeny base flakes, teeny dome fleabite.

On the left is embossed (upside down) 553 with the middle 5 appears to be over a 9 as if it were poorly re-engraved. MLOD (2-piece mold). 2 teeny base flakes are the only damage. Measures 1.5 inches tall by 1 1/16 inches wide.

A porcelain example of this eared insulator was offered in a 1928 French supply catalog and was made in 3 sizes. [id=379732957].

First email gets this pair of unusual Green glass eared insulators for only $185 plus shipping. Thanks
