This pair of insulators have been used for the fire alarm circuit in my home town Norrköping. The mounting bracket is designed to be mounted on a chimney. The insulators were in their youth painted bright orange-red, but as you can see, time take it's toll and the remains of the paint have turned dark... but they sure must have been a sight when new! They are manufactured by Gustavsberg in the 30´s and a few of them can still be seen on chimneys around town.
