Went back to a spot yesterday that I went bottle digging back in the 70's. I remember seeing this railroad track support stone along the creek. Sure enough it was still there along with 2 others! Notice the tie plate wear marks. This goes back to the beginning of the Phila. & Reading between Phila. & Reading late 1840's.
