Any CD 151 collector knows it is really tough to find any in colors other then aqua regardless of the maker. If my memory serves me right this no embossing 151 was made by the King City Glass Works (KCGW). However, don't quote me on that. Anyway this one is dark green in color. At least that is what I would guess Charles thought the color was when I look at the price range on his little sticker. I would say he was right if so. The color may lean a bit towards emerald green. Especially in the wire groove and and wherever the glass is a bit thicker below and above. The condition of this insulator is nowhere near mint but will actually display very well from one side. The best side is shown in my pic. Please sent for worse side pic if need be. The following damage report should tell you whether or not you are really interested in having extra pics sent. Base : I count a total of four flakes. The worst is on the worse side I mentioned above. It is about 3" long. About 1 1/2" of that flake is noticible when displaying from worse side. It starts like 1/8" in front of the mold line on one side the rest is behind that mold line. The next largest flake is clam shell type that is under the good displaying side. It is about 1/2" long on the inside portion of base and not noticible when displaying. Skirt : The remaining base flakes I mentioned above are much smaller but the flaked the very base of the skirt above. One of those is actually an open bubble that will be visible on the right side when displaying what I'm calling the best side. Inner skirt : Has about a 1" chip that would be visible in the same area of the worst base flake I mentioned was on the base. That to being on what I call the insulators worse side. Above skirt : Has a total of four surface flakes from inclusions or bubbles to close to surface. Also has two small bruised fish eyes where the glass remained. The worst of the flaked inclusions will be visible when displaying what I'm discribing as the best side of insulator. Book says 75-100 dark green and much more for emerald green. Have this tough, tough insulator shipped within the lower 48 US States within 2-3 business days once payment of $60 is made. Add $5 to ship to Canada. First email.
