Boston, MA c1880, Public Gardens, White Porcelain Insulators

In my opinion this was a telegraph line that ran from Boston outfitted with Elliot white "flint-glass" threadless insulators. This line also could have been a very early electric lighting route given the fact that Thomas Edison and others were vividly conducting electric distribution experiments in the Boston area during the early 1880s.
