This even rarer variant of the M-2998 was by all indications only produced in late 1902 and early 1903 . a total of FIVE examples are known all of which were repaired. Four of them are now locked away in collections and this is the only one left . It has Marking 6-2. The crown and glaze weld skirt differ considerably from the M-2998, having a wider crown with a smaller top groove and a much larger glaze-weld skirt with a inner petticoat .
