A great and affordable minimally repaired example of one of the first high voltage insulators ever made. The top is marked Fred M.Locke with 6 patent dates on one side and VICTOR DEC 6 1901 on the other . The markings are clear and readable. The top platter has a 1 1/2" piece of the rim grafted in and three chips associated but is otherwise almost mint with no other repairs or damage. The spout is even factory perfect with no damage . The rest of the platter, collar, and crown are not damaged . The front side of the base is mint with no damage. The back side of the base was repaired from five large parts that cleanly went back together . There are two repaired chips on the rim in the back . The cement joint is sulphur I am asking $400 plus postage or I can deliver if I will be in your area soon .
