Here's one not often seen for sale. The 731.2 is a cross between the straight skirt 728 and the deeper concave skirt 731. I got my first of these back in 1975 and thought I was getting a 728. When I got it home, I thought it was different enough to have a new CD number assigned. I first sent it to Milholland and he told me threadless numbers were being assigned by Woody Woodward. Marion sent it from Seattle to Houston where Woody agreed and assigned it 731.2. Here's your chance to pick one up. Now, this is NOT the one from 1975 (I'm keeping that one!), but it is a very nice one. It has a flat 3/8" chip on the lower wire ridge and one teeny nick. Also, a no glass missing tiny impact bump on the base about 1/4" diameter. Otherwise it's perfect. The photo is dark because I haven't cleaned off the railroad soot. Firm price is $295 and that includes shipping and insurance to the lower 48. Additional cost if sent elsewhere. First email! |
