Up for sale is one of these classically gorgeous "golden boy" CD 145s. Certainly as far as the ranks for cheap insulators that look fantastic in your window go, these are high on the list. The thickness of that vibrant peach coloured glass really plays with the light and sparkles when the sun hits it on the right angle. This one came from Western Ontario along the Canadian Pacific, is my understanding. After a bath it emerged sparkling as the day it came out of the mould and ready to be passed along to the next collector. This one has a bit of milk in the skirt on both sides just behind the mould lines. When the light catches that peachy glass and iluminates the milky swathes within, you'll be glad you bought this one. The condition of this one is great - just one 3/16" faint fisheye on one side of the skirt and a bit of light scratching from where the tie wire was removed. I'm asking $15.00 U.S. plus shipping for this one. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. All the best! |
