Mershon designed M-3250 manufactured by Thomas have been found in South Carolina. The insulators were used on a Westinghouse manufactured switch assembly installed in 1911. This insulator was dug at Nitrolee. The crown and core of the insulator has been removed from the site by srappers due to the iron clamp on the top.
