Up for sale is a Hudson Bay Railway CD 145 in all their usual crudeness, and in the more unusual blue aqua colouration. This colour is a stronger blue than the typical Canadian 145, and I would estimate is about 1 in 10 of these H.B.R. 145s. Along with a pretty colour, this one, of course, bears some historical significance as the insulator used along the famed Hudson Bay Railway on its perilous course through polar bear country and hundreds of miles of untamed wilderness through northern Manitoba. Somewhere along that line this insulator saw use and sat perched atop a pole seeing only trees, wind and water for probably 60-80 years... apart from the occasional choking plume of diesel or coal smoke or maybe some sort of wildlife.

The condition of this one leaves nothing to be desired. I really can't find anything wrong with it, but let's just call it "VNM" to be safe.

I'm asking $15.00 U.S. plus shipping for this one. I accept PayPal, or personal cheque from any member of ICON or any collector with whom I have dealt before. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos, and look through my other items or unsold sales stock to combine shipping on items. All the best!
