Once installed on nearly every Southern Power Company transformer house, the weather guards over the wall tubes and slate slabs are still in place after 103 years.

Two 50,000 volt lines entered the building through Victor porcelain wall tubes and heavy slate slabs. All are in excellent condition with minor chipping.
