A single-circuit, three-phase electric line with glass or porcelain insulators is seen on the far left with heavy cables along the middle of this photo for trolley power. On the far right is a nice old 10-pin, two-arm telephone pole line...of the basic type we never get tired of seeing, no matter how old or new ;-) ...with "alley arms" extending over the roadway in the background for clearance from the trees to minimize electrical interference from the surrounding tree foliage, providing better telephone service.
