A nice view of this New Hampshire town right after a snowstorm. The (taller) pole in the foreground appears to have a two-pin fire alarm circuit atop it with telephone openwire circuits immediately beneath. Right behind (the shorter pole) is an electric lighting service pole with an old cast-iron distribution transformer on it. Way on the far left is another open wire line. Perhaps this was for telegraph service along a RR right-of-way that was known to have ran through this town. |
