It has been said that most of the McLaughlin-42 CD 154's were used by Western Electric for telegraph lines along the railroads. Of all that were made, very few were made with this 6 over the H, like a football going over the goal post. The only greens of this variety came in Olive, Emerald, Light Green, & Apple.
