Early telephone circuits probably built before 1900 grace this New Hampshire village complemented with period homes. The crossarms seen here were affixed to their poles via two lag screws. After about 1910, ten-pin crossarms with a through-bolt became standard for Ma Bell here in New England and probably elsewhere too.
