I finally purchased a large collection of glass and porcelain insulators from a local antique/junk dealer in a deal that I have been cultivating for the last three years. (He's an awful procrastinator.) Anyway, included among the glass pieces was this CD 105 EIN [020] (Base) AM. INS. CO. PAT. SEPT. 13. 81 BE pony just loaded with character. Take a look at that trail of bubbles up the front skirt and into the wire groove, not to mention the half-inch white stone in the crown above the wire groove at the mold line! The Price Guide lists this embossing variation in three colors and two price ranges: green aqua and light green aqua at $150 - $175, and light green at $250 - $300. That's quite a difference for what seems to me to be a subtle color variation. I haven't handled enough examples of this CD to be able to distinguish between these colors, and a search of the Picture Poster Gallery here provides little help. Does anyone have a comparison photo that they can post to show these color differences in this CD? Thanks for any help.

Update: I've heard from a number of folks on this color question. While no one was able to provide a comparison photo, many thought, as I did, that this looks light green aqua on their monitors. According to the CD 105 American gurus I've heard from, however, they say that this color is actually the light green version of this insulator. I guess that's why I asked. 8^) Happy Holidays everyone!
